Fujitsu Takamisawa Introduces Low Voltage Connector for 3.3V PC Cards
If you're designing any type of mobile or wireless product, chances
are your design requires low-voltage components to conserve battery power. And chances are even better that
your design includes a PC Card application. With that said, look to Fujitsu Takamisawa's new, low-voltage
PC Card connector to accommodate 3.3v Type I, II or III PC Cards.

Available in a right-angle, single-slot configuration, the 3.3v-keyed, surface-mount headers offer a power-saving
connection for low-voltage PC Cards used in personal digital assistants, Internet readers, cellular telephones
and portable test equipment, to name a few.
Just to make sure you get the best configuration for your design, we offer the header in lightweight,
inverse-mountable, elevated and low-profile types. There's also a line of optional ejection mechanisms
that incorporate ESD/EMI grounding clips.
Like the rest of our extensive PC Card connector line - which includes 5v PC Card connectors for those
not-so-power- sensitive designs - the new 3.3v headers meet JEIDA and PCMCIA standards Version 4 and are
hot pluggable. They feature 0.050 x 0.050-inch contact spacing and a 0.5A DC rating.
So, if your design includes low-voltage PC Cards, think Fujitsu Takamisawa for a low-voltage connection.
